Metropolitan Recycling is one of New York City’s largest, privately owned, paper recovery and waste removal companies. Servicing over 1800 customers within the five boroughs of New York City and Long Island, Metropolitan Recycling offers stellar service, employing 120 union workers and friendly, knowledgeable office staff, our facilities operate 24 hours per day, six days per week providing the best service to all or our customers in a timely manner.

Fully licensed by the New York City Business Integrity Commission, NYCDEC and NYCDOS, Metropolitan Recycling owns and operates a 120,000 square foot “MRF” (Materials Recovery Facility) in Brooklyn, NY, which processes over 15,000 tons of recyclable material per month. We have in-house mechanics and service vehicles, fully tooled for off-site repairs, maintenance and installation of equipment, enabling us to respond to maintenance emergencies within 24 hours of notification, 24 hours a day, six days a week.

At Metropolitan Recycling, our focus of recycling, through our MRF, paper, cardboard, plastics and metal, are pulled from the waste stream, thus saving much needed room at the landfills. The process of intense waste reduction and post recycling gives Metropolitan Recycling the opportunity to be extremely competitive.
